We recently changed our parish financial management to make use of the Archdiocese of St. Louis Shared Accounting Service. I made the decision to change to shared accounting after consulting the parish finance committee and several pastors of other parishes. Over two-thirds of the parishes in the archdiocese of St. Louis use Shared Accounting. This and other changes to our financial management will help us to better coordinate our accounting practices with the other parishes and schools of the Archdiocese.
The parish finance committee is aware of financial challenges to the parish and school. We plan to provide you with more information in the weeks ahead.
